Membership – looking forward
Membership for season 2025-26 will close on 28th February 2026.
Potential new members should come back to this site on, or after, 1st May 2026 for any updated information regarding season 2026-27 and the relevant membership application form. There will not be a waiting list.
All existing members that have provided an email address to the Club will receive their renewal letter via email. The continuous rise of postage costs has caused the Club to look at other means to get the information to you.
Last season, for the first time, we sent renewal letters out via email, via our new database and there were teething problems. Many members did not receive their renewal letter and / or the incorrect renewal fee was charged, causing the Club Secretary and Membership Secretary additional work that they could have done without. The Club are currently working on such issues to be resolved prior to the renewal letter being sent out for the new season (see below).
If you are not receiving weekly newsletters from the Club and have provided us with an email address then you need to contact the Membership Secretary (details below) as soon as you can, certainly prior to April 2026. (You may have inadvertently unsubscribed; we may have the incorrect email address for you or failing that our messages may be going to your ‘spam’ or your mailbox may be full).
If you have changed your residential address since you renewed / joined last year, please remember to inform the Club of your new address as soon as you can.
If you do not have an email address registered with the Club and cannot provide one, then as per previous years, a renewal letter will be posted to you in early May.
A newsletter will be sent during the last week of April, informing members to look out for the emailed renewal letter going out on the afternoon of 6th May 2026. Last year, many recipients did not realise that it went to their junk / spam and did not see it. Many others just did not receive it – fingers crossed this will be rectified this time.
