Kings Weir September 2023

The Club ran a trip to Kings Weir – taking all 8 main weir pool pegs.

Paul Currell helped 7 other VAC members – explaining what the best methods were for each peg and giving advice on how to fish this unique water.

It was a tough day with only a couple of fish caught – however one was an 8lb chub!

That is why Kings Weir is such a special water – there is a realistic chance of catching a fish of a lifetime. In previous trips members have caught double figure barbel as well as huge chub.
