River Great Ouse – Tingewick
Located on the western edge of Buckingham, this picturesque stretch of the upper River Great Ouse lies behind Tingewick Industrial Park. Parking is available on the estate access roads, with the river reached via a short walk through the woodland.
At around 500 yards long, Tingewick offers a traditional river fishing experience, ideal for centrepin reels, stick floats and other running water tactics.
The river holds healthy stocks of Roach and Dace, with regular catches of fish up to around 8oz. Fallen trees and natural features also provide excellent habitat for larger Perch, Chub and Pike.
A lightly fished venue, Tingewick offers plenty of untapped potential. Vegetation can become overgrown during the summer, so some pegs may require a little clearing before fishing.
Please note: Night fishing is not permitted on this stretch.
