Your Specialist Committee
Well it's been an interesting season so far and with the impending closed season coming, the SC are arranging a few events through the closed season to help you guys make the closed season pass as quickly as possible.
The main event in our calendar is the Matt Mills Memorial Carp trophy. The dates for the heats will be posted soon. We have also looked at ways to "refresh" the format following on from anglers comments last year. I also posted a suggestion thread on the forum. We are also arranging the very popular Tench fishing trip at Bury hill. Recent trips normally end being "who got snapped up the most by huge carp" trip. So this year I will be prepared. Again the date will be posted shortly.
The stick float clinic has proved to be very successful and thanks to our top Barbel angler, Keith Speer, the event will be held again later in the year at Marford.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Barbel day. We really want to run this event this year, but it needs loads of input form members to make it work. It will be held late September and I am asking for some Barbel anglers who fish the Ouse at Felmersham to come forward and give us a hand up there. Please PM me (Pike Prowler) if you can helps out.
