Next Match Previews
The first match of the new season is
the Juniors,
Ladies and Seniors match at
Frogmore on June 14th. Just £2 need
for pools on these four hour roving
matches. This is followed the next
day by the first Championship match at Riverside on the 15th for
the Rodney Lee trophy. It's an 8am
draw but turn up early as Brian will
be offering a full cooked breakfast.
Optional pools of £5 plus £2 section
and £1 golden peg. There is also a £2 mandatory fee for
a raffle ticket with all proceeds to
charity. Any contribution to prizes
would also be most welcome.

Stan Kiddle crowned 07-08 Champion
After a
number of nearly misses, Stan has at
last managed to get his name on the
converted VAC Championship trophy.
Stan framed
in the top three no fewer than 10 times
out of 16 matches with first places at
Riverside and Frogmore and a Best-of-10
total of 940 points out of a maximum
1,000. In second place, on 875 was Neil
Anderson without winning a match and
third, on 835 points was Paul Bangs who
picked up three 1st places out of 13
matches fished.
