Commentary by Brian:
On a very windy day the carp only showed in very few swims as the results show. Only the favoured swims around the island causeway and the down wind end of the island produced carp. The remaining swims saw anglers scratching for the flying skimmers and roach. I am sure the skimmers are trout hybrids as most go airborne following being hooked.
Two highlights of the day were Cliff’s monster roach & Malcolm Felgate’s first ton.
Neil, as usual had a moan, (this definitely was not a highlight) but made good use of a fancied swim.
