What can you get for less than 1 per week?

Well, a years adult membership of the VAC costs just 50 and provides excellent fishing on a range of venues, some of which are open all year. We believe that no club works harder to provide value to its members and we are heartened by the fact that last season saw a new record membership of 1178.

If you are not already a member, now's the best time to join - just click here for details.

The Verulam Angling Club are delighted to confirm an agreement with Tingrith Course Fishery near J12 of the M1 just north of Luton.

At no cost to the club, members on production of their VAC club card, can accrue a  'loyalty stamp' and after three paid visits to the venue, gain a fourth visit free of charge.

This approach will enable both the club and Tingrith to gauge what the take-up would be if we were to develop this relationship in future years.

For more details on Tingrith click here or go to the Tingrith website by clicking the banner above.

Plenty of carp in Riverside?

Riverside is a fantastic mixed fishery but there are some who don't  think we have as many carp in there as we used to. Of course not every one shares this view, especially this young man (sorry, haven't got your name) who recorded over 100 carp from the water last season.

The fisheries committee are currently assessing the existing stocks. What do you think? Drop the webmaster an email with your comments by clicking here.
