Fisheries - Turnford Lakes

The VAC are members of the Turnford Consortium who control four excellent lakes in the Lee Valley near Cheshunt. Click here or on the links below for more info:

Boot pit produces bags of carp to 8lb, Tench and Bream to 6lb.

Marsh Pit has some fine Tench to over 10lb. There are rumours of very large catfish but the VAC couldn't possibly confirm this as the EA might be reading this.

Railway pit offers carp over 40lb. Tench to 10lb are also reported.  Lea pit has produced Bream to 13lb with tench up to 10lb also reported. Generally noted for the big bream with bags of fish to 90lb.
